Mitsubishi Evo will catch you.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysian police has bought 25 high-powered Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution cars to catch criminals and speed hogs.
The cars, worth several millions of ringgit, would be fitted with safety gadgets and would sport the looks of police patrol cars.

Sources said the police had already taken possession and were testing the cars before sending them to the Road Transport Department for registration and approval.
“The cars are to be used in high-speed car chase, especially in cases of carjacking, kidnapping and hijacking.
“The speed of the cars would enable the police to catch up with criminals who often used modified turbo charged cars to escape,” they said.
Several police personnel have been sent to undergo intensive driving classes to ensure they are able to handle the super charged cars, they added.

The cars, they said, would also be used by the highway patrol unit to monitor speed hogs or illegal racers
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan confirmed the purchase but declined to elaborate. - source thestar.com.my

  2. New autos do not demand as much maintenance as used cars do. There will be no
need for tune-ups or oil changes for the first several thousand miles of
ownership. Also, you won't have to replace tires, brakes, batteries, etc. for an
extensive amount of time. In fact, it is very common for car manufacturers to
cover the replacement costs for these car parts for the first couple years of
    car ownership.

  4. That sounds better compared to the U.S police that uses BMW as their patrol car based from what I've read in TopSpeed.com . So i would say that Mitsubishi Evo doesn't need a higher budget for it's maintenance and it's just fair to add some super turbo engine for the car.

  7. Car maintenance requires a little investment if you want your car to last longer. If your car still looks perfect you don't have to worry about buying a new one.
